Blue's Deer Hunt

Note: There are so many deer here in Central Texas,
if the numbers aren't kept down, the deer will starve to death.

Blue is proud - and protective - of his catch.

The horses run over to see what all the commotion is.

Max, the Doberman, warns the horses to stay back. 

Max should definitely be credited with helping in the hunt, too.

Nothing will be wasted. 

Tonight, as the dogs sleep inside, smaller animals will also have a good meal on a frosty night.

By tomorrow nothing will be left but a few bones.
